| Really, I promise. I'm going to tend to the new "video" page on my site this summer. For now, things are looking very unkempt, and videos are scattered here and there. Soon. |

FALL NEWS
Studio time and workshops were grand this summer. However, with fall's arrival, the visual journaling and painting workshops are again on hiatus. Nevertheless, work on the "Altered Alchemy" workbook continues, and I hope to have a short video or slide show added to the website by the end of the year. In addition to my full-time psychotherapy practice, I will continue to be available for specially scheduled workshops. Feel free to contact me with questions or requests.

Spring already?!
Ready or not, here we go! This is just a quick update to let everyone know that the studio workshop schedule has been postponed until mid- summer. The current schedule of weekly commutes between the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Bay Area has simply monopolized the calendar. Nevertheless, if you have a special date or a special interest in one of my workshops, please feel free to email me via the contact page with your request, and I will do my best to accommodate.
Also, I want to remind everyone of the “Art & Psyche” conference being held in San Francisco in early May. This is the first international conference of its kind, and already a dozen or so countries are represented. You can read more and get registration information here: http://www.sfjung.org/ArtAndPsyche.pdf
I wouldn’t miss it!
All the best,
Heather

Greetings from the Colfax Studio!
I have lots of new activities happening and a little bit of news to share too.
First, if you haven’t already heard, the new schedule is in full-swing, and I am in San Francisco on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the analyst training program at the C.G. Jung Institute. During the rest of the week and weekends, I am busy seeing clients and dipping into creativity in the studio/office.
Current activities in the studio include small groups exploring more of the "creative process." The below dates are not posted elsewhere on my website (which I admit needs some serious updating). In the interest of time, I thought it was best to send them here. The new “Art & Psyche” groups are forming on Thursday evenings. The first introductory groups are only two consecutive Thursday evenings, which makes them an excellent opportunity to experience this process before committing to a longer on-going group beginning in January 2008. These mixed-media groups will explore: spontaneous imagery and meaning-making; the language of the unconscious (both collective and personal); visual journaling; roadblocks, inhibitions, and anxieties about creating imagery; procrastination and avoidance of the creative process; pros and cons of various media techniques and supplies, and much, much more!
7pm to 9:30pm on:
November 1st and 8th.
and/or
Nov 29th and Dec 6th
The fee is $65 total, for each two-night session. Contact me if you would like a flyer either emailed or snail-mailed to you. If you are interested in attending, please request a registration form as well. Pre-registration is required and there is a supply list.
All the best to everyone in this beautiful fall season,
Heather Braley
