Heather Braley is a psychotherapist in private practice with offices in Nevada City and Colfax, California. She has a background in education and the arts, and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in clinical psychology. She currently works with adults, couples, and adolescents. In addition to individual sessions, she provides art therapy in workshop and group formats.
As a psychotherapist I work as closely as possible with each client to discern the appropriate modality for his or her individual needs. I am informed by and experienced in a variety of theories, including Depth and Archetypal Psychology, Object-Relations, Jungian Analysis, and Gestalt and Process-Oriented therapies. Techniques include art therapy, journaling, and dreamwork, in addition to talk-therapy.
